The fact is, even within our face shapes, there are so many facial differences that it can be difficult to find the right look. We all have our best features and our least favorite features. Some of us do worry about the size of our nose and weather it is too wide or too long it is often a common “problem area” that people worry about and because of this we want to find the hairstyle that suits us and our nose shape best.
If you have a large nose you can choose to either emphasize your noses shape or choose a style that creates balance with your nose and your other features. Here’s some styling tips we suggest:
- Layers offer visual interest and will move the viewer’s attention from the nose to other features. They also create softness to more harsh angles.
- Soft waves and curls add width to the face, which will make the nose look smaller. However, this is not recommended for a round face shape.
- Keep your hair medium-length such as a long bob or longer.
- Side-swept bangs will shift attention to a side of your face rather than to your nose. However, a blunt cut can actually draw attention to your nose (and your eyes). If you want blunt bangs, just keep them wispy. Opting for side-parts is also beneficial, especially if you don’t want bangs.
