Many of us feel the need to change our hair seasonally, even monthly. From colors and cuts, we quickly grow tired of a look and can’t resist the temptation to get the latest haircut you saw in a magazine or movie. Mila Kunis doesn’t seem to get bit by that hair-changing-bug. She has had long hair for as long as we can remember. But, there’s been a lot of changes in Mila’s life – being a new mom being the biggest change, but with the change of the season from summer to fall, it seems Mila is ready for a change.
Mila showed up at her movie premier for Bad Moms in 2016 with an asymmetrical wavy bob – looking more like a fab mom than a bad mom and, we were falling for this bob, but alas, it was just a fake! A faux bob that duped us into thinking she was the latest celeb on the bob squad.
In other words, in 2016, Mila duped us – but perhaps she was just trying the bob on for size. She retreated to her long jet black locks and we still adored her long layers. Although this bob is simply long tresses tucked up with bobby pins to create this soft and wavy look, we can’t help but feel inspired by the shorter look – and it seems she felt the same way.
Choppy, Wavy Bob
The wavy but sleek bob flattered her hair texture and face shape, and this fall, she decided to make the chop and get the coolest mom-hairdo. She chopped her long layers for a chin-skimming bob that she debuted at an event for Jim Beam Vanilla.
The new look isn’t just a few inches snipped off either. She has a layered cut that naturally creates sleek waves. This is a hair style departure from her usual long, straight waves. Perhaps she’s inspired to cut her hair thanks to being a new mom and having another on the way, or maybe she’s just showing us that moms have just as much fun with their looks!
Straight Side-Swept Bob
She has styled the shorter length super sleek and straight too and we are gushing over how chic and stylish this look is on her. We love the pairing with the black outfits for a timeless look on the red carpet, but easily translates to running errands without having to change a thing.
1960’s-Inspired Asymmetrical Bob
Every time we see a new celeb showing us how chic and fab bob haircuts are, we feel inspired to make the chop. It’s a new season, and Mila’s inspiration comes just in time to give a little extra push towards a shorter, fresher look for the New Year. If you’re feeling inspired, check with your hairstylist to find a shorter hairstyle that works for your face shape and hair texture.
