Appropriately called “bronde” this perfect color can work both for blondes and brunettes. For brunettes it’s a fun, easy and low-maintenance way to add warmth and bright up tresses. For blondes, it’s a way to warm up the color and cool down the maintenance by adding this more natural color.
Is Bronde Right for You?
Like we mentioned above, bronde has a hue that’s right for everyone. If you have darker hair and a tan skin tone, then you’ll want to opt for golden multidimensional tones. But if you’re paler then ash tones in your bronde hue is preferred. If your hair is already blonde then you’re off to a great start because you have a base that will look exceptionally natural.
Also, we recommend that you keep the color bright around your face and darker around the crown to achieve that natural, sun-kissed color.
Having pictures in hand when you go in to the salon is essential. It will give your colorist the opportunity to see exactly what you’re trying to achieve. These are some of our favorite bronde looks!

Start Slow and Ease Into It
A soft honey, caramel and buttery color can look good with every skin tone when it’s done right. This long-lasting look will give your hair dimension and contrast. However, it is still a color change and you don’t want to jump into anything you’re not ready for. Regardless if you’re blonde or brunette, don’t stray too far from your base color at first.
Maintaining the Bronde
Although bronde is definitely less maintenance than blonde and isn’t too drastic of a look, it’s still important to purchase the right products. Use a color-protecting shampoo and conditioner to keep your new color looking fabulous longer.
So, bronde is less maintenance, less harmful to your hair, less expensive but just as fabulous as a blonde or dark brunette look. If you’re considering a new color, we definitely say go bronde! After all, Bronde’s have more fun!
